Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup FIXTURES confirmed

Writer: London Broncos LadiesLondon Broncos Ladies

The 2025 Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup group stage fixtures have been confirmed, with just under a month to go until the competition gets underway.

The live draw, held on BBC Sport in January, placed the competing teams into four groups, the top four teams from the 2024 competition—St Helens, Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors, and York Valkyrie—divided between them.

This year’s competition will once again begin with a round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the Quarter Finals, scheduled for the weekend of April 26-27. From there, the knockout rounds will determine who advances to Finals Day at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 7 June.

London are in Group D and have no fixture in Round 1. They will begin their campaign by hosting last year’s semi-finalists, Wigan Warriors, in what promises to be a tough but exciting Round 2 encounter. In Round 3, they will travel to Craven Park to face Barrow Raiders for the first time.

Fellow Southern team Cardiff Demons, also newly invited to the Northern Championship for 2025, will face the same opponents as the Broncos last season, sharing a group with Warrington Wolves and St Helens.

With a mix of established contenders and ambitious challengers, the 2025 Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup promises some fiercely contested early rounds of the tournament.

London will play in Rounds 2 and 3 against Wigan Warriors (H) and Barrow Raiders (A) respectively
